The WakWay Farm is a third-generation family farm. Twenty-five percent loss of farms in Hood River and all over the U.S., inspired Don Wakamatsu to re-establish the farm with Farm-i-tude.
Farm-i-tude is the overall attitude about land management, technology, caring for resources, rescuing what was once considered waste to create innovative new products, better-growing practices, and educating the next generation, not just traditional farming.
The WakWay Farm is a hub of learning, teaching, and creativity in how we can farm to make EVERY acre count. This non-profit farm is a hands-on laboratory dedicated to having fun while creating the best farming practices and partnered with some of the most inovative agriculture minds in the country.
